THE LOVES OF MY LIFE!

Love for learning.

Alex loves doing his homework! He just can't get enough. And no he does not get it from me. He is just like his father when it comes down to intelligence and just wanting to know everything. They just love being right! So far he's enjoying school but the only problem is according to his teacher he talks waaaaay to much. I do not know where he gets that!? He just loves making new friends. However one thing I do think he hates is having to wear clothes to school. Once he gets in the car he starts stripping down. He is such a unique kid! He can be so terrible but extremely cute at the same time. Alex you are so special to me and I love you dearly! Sometimes I feel like I'm gonna go nut because of you but I would go nuts without you.

This is what happens when mom doesn't listen...

I'm constantly asking my kids to listen and to do what I ask of them but I need to do a lot better myself. Today Caleb asked me probably over three times to cut an apple for him. But I was busy helping Alex with his homework. So it wasn't until Caleb said, fine I will cut it myself! As he was sitting on the counter that I reacted. When I get to the counter he had stabbed the apple with the scissors which Alex and I thought was hilarious and had a great laugh. Things like this happen a lot around here because I don't listen. Lesson learned I need to do better myself before I judge my kids for not listening to me when I "never" listen to them! I have to be a better example maybe then they will do better. Oh I also learned to keep the scissors far from where any of the kids can get it.

"Jaloguin tricorti" Halloween trick or treat!

This last week has been a very busy but fun one since we had a lot of fun things planned for the kids Halloween. I'm glad Jared is a good cooper and plays along with me. I couldn't do all I do without him. It was also my birthday and Jared took me to one of my favorite restaurant with our very good friends Peggy and James. Turning 30 was not that big of a deal to me, it's just one more year. Except it made me think of how far I have come and even though I'm still young I feel very accomplished and very happy to where I'm at in life. It also made me realize how blessed I am to have such great family and friends, to be married to a great man for the eternities, to have such amazing kids (even though sometimes they drive me nuts!) plus I  have the gospel in my life. What more can I ask for?  To me the 30's is a new phase in my life where I will continue to accomplish my goals and at the same time explore new things. I'm really excited and am looking forward to many things ahead of me and be able to share it with all the great people in my life.

This is Caleb as Chuckie from the rugrats on Wed. ready for joy school.  And of course he wore this everyday until Mon. excluding Sun.

Francco is at an age where he doesn't care too much about dressing up. He just wanted to look scary and appear to look dead.

I still get goosebumps just to think of this darn snake in our garage that spooked me as I almost stepped on it.

Alex as chucky the doll in his classroom. He was so excited when I dropped him of and kept telling me how this was his very first halloween at school with his eyes wide open.

I dressed up the little ones to see Alex and Francco at their school parade.

Alex at the parade...

Francco at the parade...

Sofia as Wednesday from the Addams family ready for Abu's halloween party!

Alex eating all his candy before he left school. This boy sure can eat!

My mother the witch at her Halloween party.

Gomez and Morticia

This is while they sang Happy Birthday to me. Cause that is what we do every year...

Wallys and Isla were there too.

I don't know where my niece and nephew get all their craziness? This is  Allie and Joseph.

Ready to carve

Alex was super proud of his pumpkin.

Yummy!!!

I guess not so yummy for Franco but Allie seems to have loved it!

being silly

My sister Karla. Wow I never noticed those sharp teeth!

The pumpkins I carved for my children except for Francco. He did his all on his own, so proud of you for not cutting yourself, I have to say I was a bit terrified about how he was handling his knife.

Carla showed up after work and that was all Isla wanted.

Dancing could not miss! Don't we always end up dancing, that is one thing I love about my culture and makes me miss PR. They kids had lots of fun dancing as always.

Rafi as a pirate for the trunk or treat

Ready for churches trunk or treat...

Isla the cute little witch ready as well.

While handing out candy Gomez of corse could not help himself and had to kiss my hand.

This was my last pic since my camera broke : (

I wish I would have been able to take pictures on Halloween... My sister invited us over and we had a fun party for the kids and went trick or treating. We had lots of fun! I hope to be getting a new camera soon!

Caleb

My very unique boy.

This is how he usually poses for me, looking far away in the distance. So I often ask him to look at the camera and smile.

Momma thinks you have cute feet Caleb... At least for now.

My favorite, hands in his pocket and all.

Sofia's shooting!

My smiley Sofia
Innocent girl

Serious

Surprise

I'll keep posing as long as you keep throwing M&M at me.

Great for teething!

Pretty girl!

Weekend of accomplishments

Sofia and Caleb attempting to mow the lawn...

Isla loves the outdoors, she could sit on the same spot all day if I let her.

Someone reminds me of Alex A LOT!

Rafi "skateboarding"

I promise I was watching them! They're just too fast and very bad listeners.

Isla lounging...

Girls at play.
When will Alex ever learn he can't just run around in his underwear.  I guess at least he's not naked.

Franco, Sofia is not a toy!

Sofia took a few bites of my nutella toast.

Rafi made a flower for "titi" with magnetics.

Alex the daring.

There is a story behind this pic. Rafi was supposed to say sorry and give hug but they just both stood close to each other  for a minute and weren't able to make eye contact which I thought was pretty funny and cute.

Sofia got into that stuff that you fill holes in the wall with. I forgot what it was called.

So we washed her off...

Yummy cracker!

Caleb eating up!

Parker there you are! I got a pic of you at last!

I'm so glad Jared was the one sitting next to Isla. But I guess if she had sat next to me that wouldn't have happened .

My awesome mother painting Sofia's room.

Parker, you're dessert was the best by far.

Tracy's PB cup!

He thought he could eat it all.

A shake in a sundae cup.

Isla cried for the cherries. She loved them.

Sofia and Caleb being cute with each other.
This weekend was UEA and Jared was off work which was great since I had to babysit and had a few projects I wanted to work on. I have to say I'm very blessed to have such great man in my life! We worked together as a team and accomplished a lot. My father in law sometimes tells me how lucky Jared is to have found such a wonderful wife but I always think that the lucky one is me. I really look up him and have a greater desire to be better at everything I do because of him, he truly is a good example to me and the kids. The last two days we worked on not becoming hoarders. We cleaned, organized, got rid of stuff and when I say stuff I mean a lot of stuff, changed diapers, fed the kids and and the list goes on..... Man it feels great! We also had a goal to read scriptures as a family and for 21 days in a row without missing otherwise we would have to start on day one. And we did it! Yay for us! As a reward we went to Leatherbys and it was delicious, it was pretty exciting. Specially to see how happy the kids were because they accomplished something. Also my mom came to paint Sofia's room as an early birthday gift for her and we are decorating it as well, I'll be posting pics of that when it's finished. Thanks mom! You worked so hard. This was a great weekend, very productive.
