THE LOVES OF MY LIFE!

Love for learning.

Alex loves doing his homework! He just can't get enough. And no he does not get it from me. He is just like his father when it comes down to intelligence and just wanting to know everything. They just love being right! So far he's enjoying school but the only problem is according to his teacher he talks waaaaay to much. I do not know where he gets that!? He just loves making new friends. However one thing I do think he hates is having to wear clothes to school. Once he gets in the car he starts stripping down. He is such a unique kid! He can be so terrible but extremely cute at the same time. Alex you are so special to me and I love you dearly! Sometimes I feel like I'm gonna go nut because of you but I would go nuts without you.

This is what happens when mom doesn't listen...

I'm constantly asking my kids to listen and to do what I ask of them but I need to do a lot better myself. Today Caleb asked me probably over three times to cut an apple for him. But I was busy helping Alex with his homework. So it wasn't until Caleb said, fine I will cut it myself! As he was sitting on the counter that I reacted. When I get to the counter he had stabbed the apple with the scissors which Alex and I thought was hilarious and had a great laugh. Things like this happen a lot around here because I don't listen. Lesson learned I need to do better myself before I judge my kids for not listening to me when I "never" listen to them! I have to be a better example maybe then they will do better. Oh I also learned to keep the scissors far from where any of the kids can get it.

"Jaloguin tricorti" Halloween trick or treat!

This last week has been a very busy but fun one since we had a lot of fun things planned for the kids Halloween. I'm glad Jared is a good cooper and plays along with me. I couldn't do all I do without him. It was also my birthday and Jared took me to one of my favorite restaurant with our very good friends Peggy and James. Turning 30 was not that big of a deal to me, it's just one more year. Except it made me think of how far I have come and even though I'm still young I feel very accomplished and very happy to where I'm at in life. It also made me realize how blessed I am to have such great family and friends, to be married to a great man for the eternities, to have such amazing kids (even though sometimes they drive me nuts!) plus I  have the gospel in my life. What more can I ask for?  To me the 30's is a new phase in my life where I will continue to accomplish my goals and at the same time explore new things. I'm really excited and am looking forward to many things ahead of me and be able to share it with all the great people in my life.

This is Caleb as Chuckie from the rugrats on Wed. ready for joy school.  And of course he wore this everyday until Mon. excluding Sun.

Francco is at an age where he doesn't care too much about dressing up. He just wanted to look scary and appear to look dead.

I still get goosebumps just to think of this darn snake in our garage that spooked me as I almost stepped on it.

Alex as chucky the doll in his classroom. He was so excited when I dropped him of and kept telling me how this was his very first halloween at school with his eyes wide open.

I dressed up the little ones to see Alex and Francco at their school parade.

Gomez and Morticia

This is while they sang Happy Birthday to me. Cause that is what we do every year...

Wallys and Isla were there too.

I don't know where my niece and nephew get all their craziness? This is  Allie and Joseph.

Ready to carve

Alex was super proud of his pumpkin.

Yummy!!!

I guess not so yummy for Franco but Allie seems to have loved it!

being silly

My sister Karla. Wow I never noticed those sharp teeth!

The pumpkins I carved for my children except for Francco. He did his all on his own, so proud of you for not cutting yourself, I have to say I was a bit terrified about how he was handling his knife.

Carla showed up after work and that was all Isla wanted.

Dancing could not miss! Don't we always end up dancing, that is one thing I love about my culture and makes me miss PR. They kids had lots of fun dancing as always.

Rafi as a pirate for the trunk or treat

Ready for churches trunk or treat...

Isla the cute little witch ready as well.

While handing out candy Gomez of corse could not help himself and had to kiss my hand.

This was my last pic since my camera broke : (

I wish I would have been able to take pictures on Halloween... My sister invited us over and we had a fun party for the kids and went trick or treating. We had lots of fun! I hope to be getting a new camera soon!
